Situated 10 kilometers outside Rzeszow city limits, Jasionka airport serves as an important hub for scheduled domestic and international flights across Europe. With one 3,200m-long runway for operations of large passenger aircrafts.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine, Rzeszow-Jasionka airport has become an essential component of Ukraine's fight to deter Vladimir Putin's aggression. As the war drags on, its effects will test both residents and businesses, and its capacity to draw in new business. At the same time, however, it has given people in Rzeszow an opportunity to reconsider how they see themselves within society and how best to preserve themselves and protect it.
