Kapiti Coast Airport (formerly Paraparaumu Airport) is located on New Zealand's North Island's Kapiti Coast between Paraparaumu Beach to its west and North and Raumati Beach to its south, between Wellington residential suburbs Paraparaumu Beach to its west and North and Raumati Beach in its South. Situated near Wharemauku Stream, originally owned by government before privatisation occurred in 1995.
