General Information About Kuching International Airport
Situated 11 km south of Kuching city centre, Kuching International Airport serves as an airbase for the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). Boasting a modern terminal that can accommodate 5 million passengers annually and being the fourth busiest airport in Malaysia after KLIA, Kota Kinabalu Airport, and Penang International Airport respectively.
Sarawak Aviation Ltd and British-owned Sarawak Airways use this airport as their airbase; other airlines from around Asia such as Singapore Airlines, Dragonair Hong Kong Airlines and Jetstar Asia operate out of this hub as well.
Kuching International Airport offers regular flights to destinations around the world and serves as a secondary hub for both Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia.
