General Information About Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport
Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India serves as the main airport and major transport hub for its city. Formerly known as Sahar International Airport, its name was changed in honor of 17th century Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

At this airport there are two terminals, both using airside facilities but separated physically by landsides. Airport authorities provide shuttle services between them in order to connect passengers between terminals.
T2, designed by Netherlands Airports Consultants BV (NACO), was inaugurated as an upgrade of the old international terminal in 2014. It features six passenger boarding bridges and both a transit hotel and day hotel for convenience.
