General Information About Bornholm Airport

Bornholm Airport can be found 2.7 nautical miles southeast of Ronne on Bornholm Island. Owned and managed by Statens Luftfartsvaesen (Danish Air Transport Authority), with Naviair providing air traffic control services.

The airport is situated near Ronne and popular among both visitors and daytrippers during summer months. Surrounded by Vellensbygard and Myregard hamlets as well as Arnager and Nylars, as well as close proximity to Arnager and Nylars.

Ronne is also an important centre for sailing, while Bornholm's moderate oceanic climate makes it the perfect environment for watersports such as match racing. Every September the international sailing event Danish Open takes place here; many of Denmark's finest sailors compete to become "Bornholms Sailing Champion."
