Pendleton, Oregon - General Information About Eastern Oregon Regional Airport

Pendleton, Oregon is a small but growing town located in Southeast Oregon and home of one of the state's three public airports; Eastern Oregon Regional Airport being one. Offering three daily round trip flights between Portland, Oregon and Pendleton.

As one of the largest and most extensive public airports in the region, it features numerous hangars, storage facilities and shovel-ready plots of land that are available for use by both private and public aircraft. Furthermore, its amenities list is quite impressive.

Eastern Oregon Regional Airport, owned and operated by the city, is currently undertaking a $3.9 million terminal renovation project, funded through a federal CARES Act grant.

Construction won't affect commercial flights during its completion; rather, this project entails upgrading more than 70 year-old equipment in the main terminal and replacing outdated devices with modern equivalents.

On May 5th, a 60-foot temporary terminal was set up at the airport in order to help expedite construction activities inside its main terminal and ensure passengers continued use of its facilities while construction is taking place inside it. Construction should be complete by June's end.

Restaurant Update

Elvis' Bar and Grill will remain open through the 2022 Pendleton Round-Up, but will close temporarily to accommodate kitchen and bathroom renovations. Once these projects have been completed, it should reopen by mid-December.
