Grand Forks International Airport
Grand Forks International Airport, also known as Mark Andrews Airport, is a public airport five miles (8 km) north of Grand Forks in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. While no scheduled passenger flights exist from within the US to or from any foreign countries, it serves as an international airport due to providing customs clearance service upon arrival from Canada or other international sources.
GFK Airport serves the area of Grand Forks in North Dakota and is owned and managed by the Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority. Located approximately four miles (6 km) west of Interstate 29 within city limits in Rye Township and easily accessible via U.S. Highway 2, this facility can be found by driving the main thoroughfare: US-2 (U.S Highway 2) in Grand Forks.
JLG Architects designed its two-story facility that houses Delta and Allegiant Airlines ticketing counters and baggage claim carousels; various rental car agencies; inline checked baggage screening system on first floor; second floor offices for Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority as well as TSA security checkpoint.
Passengers arriving at GFK should plan to arrive two hours in advance to allow themselves enough time for check-in and security clearance procedures, then proceed directly to their gate.
Delta Air Lines, Allegiant Air, and SkyWest Airlines operate daily flights out of GFK Terminal. Allegiant Air began offering scheduled service between Las Vegas and Phoenix starting in 2015 while Delta Connection offers daily flights to Minneapolis from this terminal.
