Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica's main airport, situated 20km west of San Jose. As the second busiest airport in Central America (Panama's Tocumen ranks first), SJO serves as hub for Avianca as well as local affiliates such as Volaris and Sansa Airlines.
