Officially inaugurated on December 2, 2021, it serves as the main airport in the city with an anticipated annual capacity of 2.5 million passengers and 24,000 tonnes of cargo and mail in its first phase.
This airport features a 45 meter wide runway stretching 2,800 meters long. Additionally, its terminal boasts a floor area of 30,000 square metres and can accommodate 16 aircrafts simultaneously.
