Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport (IATA: LWO and ICAO: UKLL) is an international airport situated 6 kilometers outside the center of Lviv and named for King Daniel of Galicia - who founded Lviv as its historical founder - dating back to 1256 AD. As Ukraine's second-busiest and second largest airport it offers all forms of aviation services and has one of its main airfields designated in his honor.
