General Information About Pakyong Airport
Pakyong Airport is one of two main international airports in North Korea - Gimpo International being the other. Situated west of Seoul on an artificially created piece of land between Yeongjong and Yongyu islands, Pakyong Airport specializes in domestic travel only.
At the airport, there are two terminals linked by a shuttle bus: T1 is used exclusively for domestic flights while T2 serves international ones.
There are a number of hotels located close to the airport, such as Hotel Juno, Thiri Yatanar Hotel and Thu Kha Hotel.
From your hotel, take a shuttle or taxi, or the Airport Railroad Express (AREX). Express trains take 43 minutes while all-stop trains require 56.
