Roberts Field is a family-friendly neighborhood park featuring an excellent children's playground (Friendship Park), youth baseball fields (Fitts and Lupien fields), and a soccer field. Additionally, this family park includes a shallow pond (Pollinator Park), certified wildlife habitat (Pollinator Park), as well as walking trails around it as well as wetland and forested areas.

Roberts Field Park is owned and maintained by the Town of Chelmsford, making it a favorite community spot. In 2016, an adopted Habitat and Trail Maintenance Plan to enhance and protect Roberts Field's natural areas while providing safe user access was passed into law.

This 20 acre park can be found next door to West Chelmsford Fire Station on Old Westford Road in Chelmsford and features a shallow pond, certified wildlife habitat (Pollinator Park), walking trails (1 mile), and wetland areas such as wetland wetlands, forested areas, and other natural elements.

Parking Can Be Found for Free

Westford Street Park and its surroundings feature ample free parking options, with several lots including one on Old Westford Road near Westford Street as well as behind 260 Old Westford Road where there is fire station located.

Camping and Picnicking The park provides numerous tent sites ideal for camping or picnicking, surrounded by wooded areas which provide shade.

Each year, many sporting events are hosted at the park, from youth athletic tournaments to school and community gatherings.
