Sadiq Abubakar III International Airport (IIA) has now opened with full operation and activity abound. Pakistan International Airport is Pakistan's flagship airport, serving nine million passengers annually and handling 50,000 tons of cargo annually. Additionally, its modular design enables an expansion to 25 million passenger per year by 2025.

One of its primary features includes two runways, taxiways, an apron and parking bays for wide-body aircraft. Furthermore, there is also an advanced cargo terminal, air traffic control complex, fuel farm, fire crash and rescue facility as well as fire crash response personnel available 24 hours a day at its facilities.

The IIA is a greenfield project designed to meet passenger and cargo transportation needs. Its four-level passenger terminal building covers 92,000 square meters and contains 72 check-in counters, 20 departure gates, as well as a duty-free arcade.
