General Information Sochi International Airport, situated in Sochi's Adler district and on the coast of the Black Sea, is one of Russia's ten largest airports with an annual passenger capacity of over 5 Million in 2017.
Since 19 October 2014, Sochi International Airport has implemented the "Open Skies" regime. This enables foreign airlines to operate transit flights between third countries via landing in Sochi without incurring any restrictions, and also gives airlines an opportunity to gain new passengers.
