Cork Airport - General Information

Cork Airport (known in Irish as Aerfort Chorcai) is Ireland's second-largest and busiest transport hub. Opened in 1961, it provides service to Cork city & county located in southwest Ireland.

The Ballygarvan airport, 8km south of Cork city centre, can be accessed using either the N27 southbound from Cork or R600 northbound (Kinsale).

Aerfort Chorcai Airport boasts two runways and can handle over 2.3 million passengers annually, serving national, international, low-cost airlines that offer direct flights to major European cities as well as popular vacation spots worldwide.

Ryanair and Aer Lingus operate seasonal flights to destinations in Spain, Portugal, Italy and the US.
