Lake Charles Regional Airport is situated five nautical miles southwest of Lake Charles in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana and owned by Calcasieu Parish. This facility serves the region's 375,000 residents through two runways oriented 5/23 and 15/33 respectively.
Flights operate seven days a week between this airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Houston Intercontinental Airport, with some nonstop routes operating nonstop to these two destinations. Furthermore, an extensive fleet of helicopters utilized by the petroleum industry resides here as well.
The Terminal (code LCH) is a two-story, four-gate facility featuring several eateries and souvenir shops located within its Upper Lobby. Additional features of note at LCH Terminal include free WiFi connectivity, skycap/wheelchair service, news/gift shop, ATM cash machine and rental car desks.
