General Info [PVC] PVC, located at the tip of Cape Cod and just 10 minutes by car from Provincetown's town center, is open year-round for general and commercial aviation use by Town of Provincetown on land leased from U. S. National Park Service. As well as being used for general aviation flights, Cape Air uses this airport regularly as well.
Cape Air was founded in 1947 and first started flying passengers between Boston and Cape Air's airport in 1949 on Cessna Bobcat aircraft. Now they provide non-stop service between both airports.
Provincetown Municipal Airport offers easy navigation and excellent services, making it the perfect starting point for exploring Cape Cod's Outer Cape towns such as Hyannis, Orleans, Falmouth and Vineyard Haven. Just half an hour's drive away!
